ROLE PURPOSE
•To support the head chef in delivering quality service across the unit
•To ensure a strong relationship is kept with client and customers
•To provide and maintain the highest standards of food service
•To effectively utilise the branding and marketing materials provided
•To represent Gather and Gather’s FOOD ideals at all times
•To communicate effectively with your manager and team
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
•Creating a positive team atmosphere and customer environment
•Configuring counter and display spaces to make them attractive
•Ensuring QHSE standards are met and upheld by your team
•Assisting with administrative duties as required
•Stock control, ordering and General Practitioner control
•Invention of new and innovative menu ideas
•Identify training requirements, and demonstrate training initiative
YOUR experience and QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
•A flair for quality food service
•A love of food and a knowledge of current trends
•experience in a restaurant kitchen in a leadership capacity
•Strong communication skills
•A friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers
HEALTH, SAFETY and ENVIRONMENT
•Follow Group and Company policies and procedures at all times
•Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment
•Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received
•Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
