Minimum 20 hours per week. You'll need to be available for the following:
Three lunchtime shifts (Wed, Thursday and Fri 11am-3pm) and two evening shifts (flexible days 6-10pm) PLUS occasional weekend shifts as required when the pub is booked for private functions.
Working alongside our Chef at lunchtimes but with responsibility for running the kitchen alone during the evenings, the duties of your job would include:
Ensuring excellence in hygiene and food safety
Prepping and cooking
Washing up
Cleaning
You will need to have a good grasp of English, be happy to work some shifts alone and be able to work well under pressure. On a busy day the kitchen can cater for around 60 covers in a lunch hour.
