Sous Chef – Boutique Luxury 4* Hotel – Straight Shifts – City, London 38kBasic salary of £35,000 plus tronc Our client is seeking a solid and experienced sous chef with a background in independent luxury hotels to help oversee the running of this unique hotel based in the City About.
Leading company
Less than 140 bedrooms and Suites
Modern European Restaurant plus bar lounges, C and B up to 200 covers.
Creative menus including tasting
12-15 Chefs plus boh staff
Good working hours, no split shifts!
Minimum of 2 weekends off per month
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Help lead the kitchen and food production for the hotel.
Implement ideas for the menus including costings and specifications.
Recruit, develop and retain a well skilled and motivated team.
Lead, engage and motivate an ambitious culinary team.
Assist with the purchasing and delivery of food.
Achieve set targets including GPs, departmental profit and payrolls.
Requirements
Experienced sous chef with independent luxury hotel experience or quality restaurant background with AA rosettes.
Strong communicator; and comfortable in contributing to the overall hotel strategy.
Ability to build relationships and influence within all levels of the business.
Creative and on trend with the current London dining scene.
Unrelenting focus on quality
Food Safety qualification required
People leadership and development experience.
Work with HACCP
You must be eligible to live and work in the UK unrestricted.
