Seeking energetic Sous Chef. Up to £32,000/annum.

About Us:
BAO are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef with experience of, or a keen interest in Asian cuisine, to join one of the most talked-about restaurant groups in town!

Having opened in 2021, BAO Fitzrovia has a familiar yet expanded menu compared with its sister restaurant in Soho. Its menu comprises of a selection of baos, sharing plates and rice dishes.

The ground floor features large glass windows adjacent to a u-shaped wooden dining bar, and a lower ground floor containing an expansive open kitchen with additional seating.

The Role:
As Sous Chef of our Fitzrovia restaurant, you will support the Head Chef in managing and inspiring the team to deliver consistent, high quality dishes. There is excellent opportunity for you to develop your career within the restaurant and this growing business.

If you have the following, then we want to hear from you:
• experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie ready for a step up;
• Passion for delivering the highest quality dishes using locally-sourced produce;
• experience of or a keen interest in Asian cuisine;
• Excellent communication and proven team leadership, training and development skills;
• Working knowledge of stock and margin controls, ordering systems, HACCP and health and safety.
