We are looking for someone that is passionate about casual dining and has the ability to turn great pub classics, into something a bit special. We need someone that's hard-working, reliable and passionate, to join our small, friendly and dedicated team. We make all our food in house from our bread all the way through to our ice cream so is a great place to learn in a variety of areas.
We are looking for someone:
* With experience, ideally within the Pub/ Casual dining/ restaurant sector and creating menus to suit that environment.
* With the ability to help manage a small kitchen team, giving inspiration, motivation, training and direction.
* Who can take part in the redevelopment of the kitchen, giving ideas and advice.
* To maintain the Kitchens systems and processes - ordering stock, managing deliveries, compiling cleaning rotas, keep relevant documentation up to date.
* To maintain our 5 star rating by practicing a high level of food hygiene.
* With ability to help Menu plan and create new and interesting dishes, using a certain amount of ingredients, to the most profitable level.
* Able to ensure consistency and quality of food to all customers.
* To work alongside Management/Head Chef in driving sales and managing costs/ profitability.
* Qualified to Level 2 food and safety
* With the right personality to fit in with our fun and friendly team, ideally possessing a good sense of humour and able to bring a sense of fun, while remaining professional.
