David and Kaz started Grind and Co. In 2011, wanting somewhere to hang out when they weren't working - or even when they were - and could get a proper cup of coffee like in Melbourne, Kaz's home town. Grind now has 9 sites across central and east London, each smashing out coffee, cocktails and food day to night, and last year we opened our own roastery and training lab in Shoreditch. The atmosphere in Grind is fast-paced and vibrant, with strong emphasis on quality coffee, seasonal food, cocktails and always the best service.
THE ROLE
We have two Senior Sous Chef roles and are looking for passionate and talented individuals to lead these kitchens. The kitchens at Exmouth Market Grind, London Grind and Clerkenwell Grind are busy, fast paced and full of energy. At Grind we serve fresh, seasonal produce within a modern and dynamic menu. Your role as Senior Sous Chef would be working alongside your Head Chef to develop our exciting seasonal menus working with our Executive Chef Kyle Boyce, whilst managing your kitchen and helping us roll out the concept across a rapidly growing portfolio of sites.
As a Senior Sous Chef you should be able to demonstrate a good all round approach to running a fast paced restaurant; ideally we are looking for someone who can keep their cool, have fun and make amazing food, fast and under pressure. If you love working with seasonal produce, have experience with food costing, H and S, and amazing attention to detail we would love to hear from you! Please email your CV and a cover letter.
