Killer Tomato opened in August 2021 serving burritos, tacos and cocktails from a 32-cover restaurant in Shepherd's Bush. Next month we're opening a second site in Portobello Road with 36 covers which is why we're now looking to expand the kitchen team.

We're looking for a sous chef who will work a maximum of 45 hours per week, over eight or nine shifts, with two to three days off per week (in a row where possible).
We make everything in the restaurant from scratch apart from the tortillas and the ketchup. You'll work on both prep and service, making our constantly-changing short menu of tacos, burritos and more.
We offer a decent basic pay plus great tips - the staff share 100% of the service charge, with nothing deducted by management at all, not even for credit card fees. Basic pay is £23,000 and tips are worth another £3000 per year or more, depending on how busy we get. It's a small, very friendly, super relaxed team.
The restaurant operation is completely paperless: rotas, ordering and HACCP are all done via apps, so the admin burden is lighter.
Casual dining experience in a multi-site operation would be helpful.
You must speak fluent English (although we have a soft spot for Spanish speakers) and have the right to live and work in the UK. You must attach a CV to your application otherwise we won't be able to consider it.
