An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic team of Restaurant Manager for our new pub and kitchen. We are currently looking to open mid to end of May. We are undergoing a full refurbishment of the building, which includes a brand new fully equipped kitchen. The pub name has changed and our website is currently under construction.
We are opening a food-led pub serving premium wines, Beers and spirits with food to match. We are aiming for the pub to be run in a similar style to our other pub: The Victoria Park Pub and kitchen, Bristol.
We are looking for a Manager that is passionate about food and drink and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal person will have a good knowledge of wines and premium Beers and spirits, and be keen to discover new and exciting products. In addition to this we require the manager to be in charge of updating social media, organising promotions and events.
The successful candidate will need to be a team player, who motivates and inspires other staff members. From past experience, we know that a happy workplace is a productive workplace, and we want to create an enjoyable environment for everyone to work in. A strong and positive relationship with our kitchen staff is also a must.
Our Manager must:
• Have a proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service in a time pressured environment, taking responsibility for the needs of all our customers.
• Be hands on with other front of house staff, developing them and inspiring them.
• Have excellent communication skills with all kitchen staff, fostering a positive and harmonious relationship.
• Ordering and controlling stock while demonstrating effective cost management skills at all times.
• Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training front of house staff.
• Have exceptional proven ability of front of house management.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
The position offer straight shifts, evenings and weekends will be included as well as a competitive starting salary.
