We are recruiting for a position of Receptionist in a beauty salon located in Barnes (SW13 9LP).
Main duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers and making sure they feel comfortable if waiting for an appointment, deal with their enquiries and book salon appointments.
- Answering/making the phone calls and dealing with subsequent enquiries and bookings.
- Selling Beauty and Tanning products and services – although some training will be given, the receptionist will need to invest time in understanding the different services available and the various products for sale, so that they can give useful advice to customers and sell them products.
- Scheduling appointments - receptionist will need to know the time that each treatment takes including how quickly each individual beautician takes to carry out their treatments so that sufficient time is given between each booked appointment.
- Processing salon treatment payments.
- Keeping the salon clean and tidy.
Necessary skills:
- Excellent communication skills (fluent English – written and spoken)
- A well organised person with the ability to multi-task
- Well presented
- People person with ability to work well as part of a team
- Professional manner
- Self-confidence
- Flexibility
- Ability to deal with customer complaints
- Patience
- Good industry knowledge
This is a part time job for self-employed/freelancers. MUST live within close proximity of SW13.
