Jark are currently looking for a Project Manager in London and working predominantly within the M25 specialising in Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-outs as well as high-end residential fit out projects. Elev8 Interiors operate a fast paced exciting environment both in the office and on site, and due to our growth in the last year, we are now looking for an experienced Project Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a circa £3m fast track high end CAT B fit out in Oxford Street location.
The desired candidate must be an excellent all-rounder, with a proven track record of CAT B fit out work, with a good knowledge of M and E as well as joinery, drywall and ceilings. They must be able to plan and construct Microsoft project programs and chair and minute meetings with clients.
• Minimum of 5 years in the commercial fit-out sector.
• Preferably a minimum of 2 years in a project management role.
• Proven back ground in CAT B Fit out works. Commercial Office experience preferred.
• Fully conversant with Microsoft project and Excel. (Essential)
• Good Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems (Including Fan Coil Units, Chilled Water and DX Systems)
• Knowledge of SKA and BREEAM
• Been involved with Considerate Constructors scheme and site Audits.
• Excellent communication in English.
• Must be flexible, able to work as part of Team or on own initiative.
• First aid, SMSTS, CSCS qualifications as a minimum
Key Responsibilities:
• You will oversee the day-to-day running operations of a circa 3m High End fit out (office space) project in London's oxford Street Area.
• Liaising with the Head Office, client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
• Coordinating and supervising Subcontractors and other construction workers
• Selecting tools and materials
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• Maintaining quality control procedures
• Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
• Assessing and minimising risk
• Writing reports, Health and safety plans and associated documents and O and M manuals.
