Personal Assistant / Sales Assistant / Marketing Assistant / PA / Office Administrator / Business Development / Wayfinding / Placemaking / Executive PAPersonal Assistsnt with a degree and 2 + years' experience in a similar role is needed for our client based in Covent Garden, London. They are in a unique position and recognised as a leading light in the field of wayfinding and placemaking. With a global reach within an expanding marketing, policymakers at the highest level desire their services. Their Senior Commercial Director, who heads up the sales and marketing operation, needs an assistant. This will be no easy job. Demanding, detailed, proactive, it will be hard work, but the rewards are worth it. You will have the opportunity to learn from one of the best, on an international stage within a truly fascinating market that actually makes the world a better place.Key responsibilities: * Preparing proposals and presentations * Coordinating and assist in completion of tender responses * Conducting research to identify market opportunities and contact information * Identifying useful events and conferences and arranging speaking opportunities * Managing diary; organising meetings and appointments; providing briefing packs and managing follow-up correspondence * Arranging travel, visas and accommodation * Developing and maintaining client relationships * Representing the company at conferences, trade fairs and networking events * Attending meetings with director to take notes and action outcomes (may require occasional absence from home overnight and overseas travel) * Following up actions from board and management meetings and managing deadlines * Compiling and preparing reports and briefing papers * Managing databases and sales reporting * Maintaining administrative systems and procedures, and managing department budgets Requirements:Essential: * Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar function, preferably in a consultancy or creative agency * Degree or HND, preferably in a business, communications or marketing discipline * Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages Desirable: * Fluency in one or more additional languages * Knowledge of working with overseas markets * An interest in urban form, mobility and/or place making Personal attributes: * Exceptional written and oral communication skills * Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines * Good organisational and time management skills * Ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely * Excellent interpersonal skills * Ability to be proactive and to work on your own initiative * Honesty and reliability * Attention to detail * Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and to work extra hours to meet deadlines * Ability to make decisions and delegate work * Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issuesIf you feel you have some or all of the skills and experience that our client is looking for, they would love to hear from you.
