Office Manager Wanted in London

Office Manager for Morton Gamble Gardens
Full time preferred, but part time would be considered, for the right candidate
Core responsibilities
Maintaining company services by organising operations and procedures relating to this growing successful company
As a small company, the candidate will have far reaching responsibilities and will be expected to work independently and with initiative. We look forward to new ideas.
The principle role will be to administer the smooth running of the company’s office based tasks, including payroll; correspondence; contracts and suppliers; database systems; and recruitment.
The office manager will work directly with the Director/Owner.
Specific responsibilities
This is a varied and busy role, the below is not an exhaustive list: -
• Staff recruitment, including job specifications , job searches, offer letters and contracts
• Staff correspondence, including administration of Human Resources notices
• Client correspondence, retention and contracts management
• Plan and manage dynamic staff Rota
• Sending monthly expenses to the co.’s credit controller
• Reconcile staff hours, time sheets and task sheets
• Payroll
• Manage and administer suppliers and associated contracts (from insurance companies to tool repair facilities)
• Facilitate induction and leaving procedures
• Manage and control company Health and safety procedures
• Support with all general admin and ensuring records and systems are up-to-date and accurate at all times
• Maintaining and monitoring that garden work is done effectively, on time and to our standards
To be consider for this role you must have: -
• experience working in a similar role and be extremely organised
• Have a good understanding of staff and client record management
• Be comfortable in dealing with suppliers, communicating with clients and dealing with staff, including managing a recruitment process
• Be able to work on your own initiative and independently, be adaptable to the changing needs of a small company
• Great attention detail and an extremely strong communicator
• Able to work well under pressure and in a dynamic environment
• A strong team player
• Gardening experience/knowledge preferable but not essential
• Clean driving license preferable but not essential
• Good Health and Safety knowledge
