A full-time Office Manager/Administrator is sought for an architectural practice in Central London (Oxford Circus / Great Portland St area) to provide Maternity cover from October 2021 to April 2022, with the possibility of an extension of the role thereafter. The successful candidate will be the assured and professional face and voice of the firm to its visitors and callers as well as the go-to support person for the busy architectural team.
Duties will include assisting the London directors and team with the office organisation, projections, monthly billings and submission of data to Head Office, maintaining and updating office procedures, auditing, reviews and acting as the office Health and Safety officer.
He or she will also have a range of other support duties including typing of letters and other correspondence, ordering and maintaining office supplies, booking travel, and generally keeping the office running smoothly. This person will also assist in the preparation of bid submissions.
For this important role we are looking for someone with:
Initiative;
A smart appearance and professional manner;
A high level of knowledge of, and ability to use, MS Word, Power Point and Excel. Some PhotoShop knowledge would be an added advantage.
Good written and spoken English.
