Exterior Maintenance and Contract Manager
Based in Canary Wharf, Plantforce is seeking an Exterior Account Manager to manage our exterior maintenance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for exterior corporate contracts in locations throughout Greater London managing quality and consistency of product and service delivery for existing clients and new projects. This vacancy would suit someone who has horticultural qualifications and experience of landscaping/gardening with excellent plant knowledge and garden design skills especially in seasonal bedding and container provision. Knowledge and experience of working in hard landscaping would also be an advantage.
Responsibilities:-
Have a well organised approach to all aspects of your work with attention to detail Being able to use your initiative
Being able to manage a team of technicians including training
Be responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety
Client site visits and consultation
Garden design and seasonal planting schemes
Maintain good relations with clients on site, team members and other colleagues
Resolve disputes if they arise
Buying materials and project management
Identifying areas of improvement
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Ability to create planting schemes
Ability to manage a team
Ability to work to deadlines and manage/plan workloads
Horticultural qualifications and experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commercial awareness
Good IT skills
Be willing to be flexible
Good knowledge of Health and Safety issues
Full and Clean UK Driving License
40 hours per week Monday to Friday
