Job Location and Family Description
This is a lovely job for an experienced housekeeper to work with a lovely family who have two children aged 4 and 6.  They live in a lovely home which is modern in design.  They are located to the South of London, not far from Richmond.   They are not looking for a nanny but you do need to be 'child friendly' and happy to look after the children and take them to school if needed.  It would be helpful if you are a driver and there is a car for you to use, although this is not essential.
The role for the housekeeper will be to keep the house cleaned and well presented at all times, laundry and ironing, including the care of fine fabrics, changing the beds and other household linen, making sure that school uniforms and gym kits are ready when needed and anything else that is need to keep the home running smoothly.  You will not need to cook for the adults but you will need to be happy to make a simple supper for the children - you are welcome to eat with them but it is not essential that you do so as you can cook for yourself in your accommodation.   The house is easy to keep clean as has modern fitments.    You may also be asked to take one of the children to school, if you drive then you can use the car, otherwise it is a walk or a bus ride away.
It is essential that you have worked as a housekeeper with childcare knowledge for at least 3 years with suitable references.  You will need to speak good English, be able to use your initiative and organise your own day.  Also needed is a warm friendly personality and someone who is happy to communicate with the children.
The role is five days a week with weekends free.  Your hours of work will be from 7am to 7pm, with a break during the day.  Your accommodation is studio style with your own bed sitting room, private bathroom and kitchenette and you are self contained, having your own front door.  Salary will be in the range of £500 net per week, possibly negotiable for a superstar!      Please note that we can only consider applications with a CV attached.
