Our Clients, who are a Lord and Lady with successful and established businesses, are looking to recruit a live-in Housekeeper for their newly renovated London residence. The current timescales for the completion of the residence is in June.  However, if the clients find the right candidate before this they will secure them in advance.  This is not the family's main residence as they own a working estate in the Cotswolds, however are often in London for work meetings and social occasions.  In terms of usage, they foresee using the property for 1-3 days per working week, with them ordinarily spending their weekends at their main country residence.
The Client has very high standards and this is reflected in their business ventures and naturally expect these standards to be reflected in their home. The Housekeeper will need to have excellent relevant private house experience, who is able to assist the daily Butler running the property when the family is not in residence and keeping up standards and being more full on when they are in residence. When the family are particularly busy or have guests other housekeeping staff will be brought in to work at the residence too for extra support.
The ideal candidate must:

Have relevant private household experience working in a similar role.
An excellent command of the English language would be preferred.
Able to work as part of a small team and communicate well with the Butler.
Able to run errands
Have excellent housekeeping and laundry duties.
Be a competent and confident cook; you will be expected to serve breakfast, light lunches and on occasions lady's afternoon teas.
Confident in service
Must be flexible and happy to work longer hours when they are in residence, early starts, 7am to 9pm when they retire for bed.

Accommodation: Self contained, newly renovated flat; service entrance.
Hours: Longer when they are in residence and 9am-4pm when not in residence. 5 days per week. Usually weekends off but flexible for not to have this.
Salary: £550 net per week
