We are looking for a confident and experienced candidate to assist and befriend a very active 10-year-old gentleman and his mother.
The role will involve morning and afternoon school runs and managing busy afternoon/evening schedule: taking the boy to the sports clubs and after-school activities, meal planning/preparation, homework supervision, assisting during the bed time, planning for the following day, working alongside the mother as well as taking sole charge. Hence, punctuality and teamwork will be key to this role.
You will be helping with the morning routine and school drop off (6am-8.30am). The school pick-up times will vary from 3.45 to 5.30 pm (except from Wednesday - no pick-up needed). Your help will be required until 8 pm on most days of the week, plus 2-3 hours on Saturday and two nights of babysitting per week. Some flexibility will be required during the school holidays, hours will be mutually agreed.
The housekeeper will be coming weekly, while you will be responsible for the daily light housework duties, such as tidying up the rooms, maintaining clothes in order, some ironing and stocking up the groceries. We are looking for someone who enjoys cooking or willing to learn the skill.
This position will suit a reliable and sensitive candidate, with excellent organisational skills, who has a good understanding and experience of working in a family environment. A successful candidate will have a firm, but fair approach, positive attitude and a good sense of humor! Good level of English language is essential for the homework supervision.
This role is perfect for a student of someone who wants to experience the best of London, as it allows plenty of free time in the morning - early afternoon. We are located in Kensington and Chelsea - an exciting and lively area with beautiful local cafés and restaurants, weekend markets, parks, museums and much more – all within the walking distance.
You will have one full day off per week and 4 weeks of paid holiday, your own room and food provided. Competitive pay rate will be offered for the right candidate.
If you wish to be considered for this role, please apply today. Telephone and face-to face interviews are in progress.
