Welcome!
We are a large family looking for someone to join us and our existing au pair to be part of our family and help with day to day life.
We have 5 kids age 11,8,6,4 and 4 (three boys and twin girls) plus our gorgeous dog Peanut. Mum and Dad are both doctors. Mum works one day and Dad full time.
We live in a large beautiful house between Wimbeldon and Kingston. You would have your own room, private bathroom and share a large kitchen with Allie. We have an indoor pool you can use whenever you wish too.
You would almost never be alone with all 5 it is simply mucking in with mum, dad or Allie our gorgeous Aussie au pair to get everything done.
In term time it means getting up in the morning, helping with kids breakfast , packed lunch and the school run and tidying the house and doing laundry. The middle of the day should be free till about 3pm and then you will need to help with the after school activities, kids tea, homework (basic stuff) and then bath and bedtime. You will have 2 and a half full days off in the week and one at the weekend.
There would be opportunity to work more hours if you like.
At the weekend we would need you for one of the days and this is normally a trip out, put for a meal, taking our gorgeous dog Peanut to the park or coming away for the weekend. We need babysitting 1-2 nights a week.
We do lots of fabulous holidays which you would be welcome on many of.
You will have plenty of time off to explore London, England and Europe. We are ten minutes bus ride to Wimbledon, ten minutes to Kingston and half an hour to London Waterloo. There are loads of local restaurants, cafes, shops, parks very close by and an active au pair community. We are about 50 Mins to Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
There are opportunities for travel and help progress your CV with work on a small web based business if you like!
We are very easy going.
We would need you to be trustworthy, reliable, great at timekeeping, kind, calm, bright and enthusiastic.
