Kitchen Manager for a busy gastro pub from £26,000 plus bonus up to £4000, 28 days holiday, company paid courses, pension, medical and dental care, cycle scheme, discounts with major retailers and other company related benefits.
We are looking for a fine dining kitchen manager for permanent role in a Pub in Sutton.
The Kitchen Manager must be an experienced chef who has a passion for cooking and be able to follow company set menu maintaining standards. The successful candidate must have already proven management skills and be an effective man manager.
The pub operation consists of people who are competent and flexible to work depending on demands of the business. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working for a pub or where the menu was already set by the chain and serve up to high volume of covers up to 200-300 covers on busiest days. These are busy venues and you need to be from a high volume gastro pub background. The ideal Kitchen Manager will have a great understanding of producing meals using the ingredients chosen by the development chef while following the specifications Supervise a team of up to 6 chefs, must have a broad understanding of organizing, delegating and getting things done in a timely manner.
Kitchen Manager will be required to work up to 48 hours per week on five out of seven days per week.
