About Us:
Founded by Nieves Barragan and José Etura, Sabor (meaning flavour in Spanish) takes you on a journey from the tapas bars of Andalucía through to the asadors of Castile and the seafood restaurants of Galicia. Nieves and José focus on capturing the flavour of Spain as well as showcasing the use of traditional ingredients and cooking methods, and a relaxed approach to dining.
With three distinct areas – a restaurant and bar on the ground floor and the asador on the first floor, each space offers a different taste and experience of Spanish cuisine and hospitality.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our Sabor family. You must be passionate about the finest quality ingredients, and be determined to create and deliver exceptional dishes every time.
Successful Junior Sous Chefs will have:
• Previous experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-quality restaurant;
• experience in Spanish cuisine (preferred but not essential);
• Highly creative and innovative approach to your work with exceptional attention to detail;
• Ability to lead your team with a positive, team-player attitude and lots of personality and humour;
• A working knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety compliance and procedures.
