We are looking for a passionate Head chef who is looking to take on the responsibility of a central London restaurant. The restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine. They are looking for an experienced Head chef from a restaurant background. You should be someone that is used to dealing with high volume yet be able to produce quality food. As Head Chef you will be expected to be very hands on in all areas. You will be cooking, developing menus and training and working alongside the other chefs in every aspect.
You will also be responsible for the management and training of the staff, recruitment of any new starters
Responsibilities:
• Hands on cooking
• Training and recruitment of all kitchen staff
• Familiar with Staff disciplinary and Human Resources procedure
• Proficient in all Health and Safety inl. Storage of food etc
• Menu planning and development
Essential
• You must have worked at Head Chef level in a quality restaurant
• Proven ability to lead and inspire your team
• Have excellent contactable references
