HEAD CHEF
Woody’s Bar and Kitchen is an independent venue with a passion for relaxed drinking, high quality seasonal food all delivered by professional and knowledgeable staff.
This would be a great step up for an experienced Sous Chef, looking to run their own kitchen, or a current Head Chef looking for a new challenge in a small, friendly, vibrant pub.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the kitchen and the team within it.
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes
- Ensuring quality and hygiene standards remain high at all times
- Developing new dishes for rotation and contributing to seasonal menus
- Monitoring all controls within the kitchen to maintain profit margin targets
Skills/Qualities/experience Needed
- Friendly and creative
- Competency in menu costing
- Dealing with suppliers/ordering effectively for the Kitchen
- Management Skills – training, patience and cooperation
- Excellent communicator (fluent English essential)
- Creative, friendly and energetic.
- Excellent food hygiene/health and safety standards.
- Right to work in the UK
Competitive salary along with bonus scheme depending on experience.
