Position: Head Chef
Employer: Fine dining Indian restaurant
Location: West Hampstead, London
Salary: ranging from £32,500 to £35,000
Bonus: Outstanding performance based monthly bonus opportunity.
Working days / hours: up to 40 to 50 hours within a 5 day week.
Benefits: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata), employer’s pension contribution, Chef’s uniform and meals on duty.

Great, then YOU could be the outstanding individual we are looking for to do AMAZING work for an established well known fine dining Indian restaurant based in West Hampstead, London.
You will have the required level of skills and knowledge for overseeing the preparation, cooking and finishing complex made to order authentic dishes. You will be head of recipe creation and management, and be required to devise complex marinades, concentrated stock, herb and Spice blends, and ingredient fusions.
You will be in charge of a team of Chefs, and lead in the planning of range of made to order specialist dishes from our established menus, and work in conjunction with other Chefs and Culinary Designer. You will be in charge of all kitchen management and running the pass. You will be responsible for management of food and ingredient supplies, and related budgetary controls and targets. You will also be training and supervising junior chefs.
Further duties will include monitoring and management of food waste, negotiating with suppliers on price, quality, availability and delivery of supplies, and dealing with main stock ordering, rotation quality checks, implementing and ensuring compliance of hygiene and health and safety guidelines. You will also regulate and monitor food temperatures, and assist in cost analysis and review, and preparing reports and schedules, performing key duties as assigned.
To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements: -

Eligibility to live and work in UK
High level culinary creativity and competency in preparation of authentic North and South Indian cuisines.
Adept at handling, care and maintenance of specialist ethnic food preparation equipment.
