Our mission at Red Dog Saloon is to be the best American restaurant in the country, serving authentic American Hickory smoked BBQ in a fun and friendly atmosphere with big personalities and an honest approach.
Red Dog Saloon prides itself on the quality of our food, we serve food that we love, using only British free range meat. Our meat is smoked daily in a Hickory wood smoker for 3 to 16 hours to ensure that it is tender, juicy, and full of flavour. This style of preparation originates from the southern US and Red Dog Saloon is the best place in London to enjoy authentic American-style smoked BBQ.
This position is an opportunity to lead the kitchen at the flagship Hoxton site. You will report directly to the General Manager and will be able to develop your career within the group. Successful candidates will be expected to:
Have a passion for good food, be committed to building the brand and always demand that we provide the best food to our customers.
Have excellent communication skills and be responsible for recruiting, training and motivating kitchen staff with passion and enthusiasm.
Manage staff including creating staff rotas, running team meetings, delegating tasks, conducting appraisals, handling disciplinary action and ensuring company policy and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Initiate and implement menu changes
Maintain the highest levels of health and hygiene standards.
Be accountable for meeting financial performance targets for BOH operations and take responsibility for BOH financial administration.
Have full eligibility to live and work in the UK.
