The Rose and Crown on Stoke Newington Church Street, is an ‘upmarket local’, offering pub classics with a twist.
The opportunity has arisen for a talented chef to join our team; working alongside our development chef and a small team of enthusiastic chefs. You’ll be given the freedom to work alongside the General Manager to create a menu that matches our drinks offer; we’re big on pairing food and drinks so any experience matching beer and food is a bonus. Alongside the core menu, you’ll have the freedom to experiment with seasonal specials.
We offer a fantastic Sunday roast, so experience in preparing a roast better than the mums of the world would stand you in good stead.
The pub serves food from 12pm-3pm and 5pm till 10pm Monday to Fridays, 12pm till 10pm on Saturdays and serving Sunday roasts from 12.00pm until 8pm.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience working in a busy kitchen, knowledge of costing menu ideas and will eat, breath and sleep creative cooking.
