Forge are working with an established restaurant group in Norway to recruit a Head Chef for their new opening in Stavangar. The group has a fantastic reputation with great reviews and a family feel to the way they conduct their business.
An opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef to take charge of the kitchen at this brand new opening. The restaurant serves an Italian menu comprising of Pizza's, Pasta'a and antipasti for up to 500 covers daily.
As Head Chef you will be responsible for a team of chefs, sous chefs and kitchen assistants with a proposed opening date of May 2022. We are looking for Head Chefs to start in February 2022 and be fully involved in the new opening.
Head Chefs will have full operational responsibility for all culinary aspects. This is a hands on position with approximately 80% kitchen based specifically during peak service hours, supervising production, training and mentoring allowing 20% of time for administrative duties.
The Head Chef will be instrumental in seasonal and daily specials, recipe cards and dish costing, general food cost and liaising with the groups senior management team.
Head Chefs should have experience in a high end or casual Italian concept with an emphasis on quality ingredients and excellent execution of product.
