Head chef – Salary package up to £42,000 per annum – Surrey
Pearmain pubs are now looking for a Head Chef with a real passion for quality fresh food and experience working in a high-volume quality operation. Due to planned company expansion this position will be based in the Esher / Cobham / Kingston area and for the first few months will involve working across the company in various sites to gain experience in readiness for taking up a position in a fixed location.
This is a hands-on Head Chef role, you will work in a modern well-equipped kitchen alongside your team across all areas of the kitchen. You will have the skills and personality to lead a large brigade of 9 chefs and 3 kitchen porters and play an influential role in their training and development.
In your role as Head Chef you will also be involved with developing new dishes; delivering an efficient food service whilst maintaining quality and consistency; adhering to food safety and cleaning standards; ordering, stock control and managing your GPs and wages targets.
