Head Chef - Brasserie - SW London GBP38'000 + BenefitsA beautiful brasserie, located in South West London, is seeking a talented Head Chef to oversee its operation. Serving British/European cuisine with a strong focus on using sustainable, locally sourced produce. This particular venue also hosts various events on the premises.You must have experience within a high standard fine dining environment as well as working with large volumes.You will have a stable career to date working in high quality fresh food brasseries or gastro style establishments and ideally with some high-volume events experience. Skills required* Excellent cooking skills* Leadership and management skills* Organisational skills* The ability to control a budget and work with figures* The ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions* The ability to stay calm and overcome any food production problems Your day-to-day duties will include:* Planning menus* Making sure food is of the right quality and price* Managing stock* Ordering food from suppliers* Controlling a budget and keeping accurate records* Managing health and hygiene procedures* Organising the staff duty Rota* Recruiting, training and developing staffA competitive salary package of GBP38,000 per annum plus benefits, is available for the right Head Chef.If you would like to be considered for this amazing opportunity, please forward your CV to us or click to apply.
