General Manager – Selfridges Food Hall - High Quality Food Retail Business
This fantastic London based Bakery company are currently looking to recruit a dynamic General Manager to join their friendly team in their third store based in Selfridges Food Hall.
This is a small company that have 2 stores at present with plans for expansion with a truly unique concept! All their products are gluten free! They have an excellent reputation for food quality and service and bring something exciting and unique to the iconic Selfridges Food Hall.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a real passion for food and people; you must have a fun and outgoing personality with a zest for life! This concept is fresh quality driven and the ideal General Manager will mirror the brand.
It’s important that you have a background within a similar environment ideally food retail – we would like the ideal candidate to be comfortable overseeing front and back of house.
You will have a natural ability to engage with the customer explaining the product and selling the concept. Excellent customer service is so important to this business.
Good leadership skills are key; you will have the natural ability to build, lead and motivate the team; you will of course be wholly involved in the team’s development and training moving forward.
You will be fully accountable over your P and L and will be expected to actively market, manage and push the business forward as if it was your own.

experience within an independent café/coffee store and or bar is desirable although we will consider candidates from a restaurant background. You must have been at least a Manager before with a minimum of 18 months’ experience.
experience working within the London area would be preferable.
