Operation: busy breakfast (residents); lunch and dinner (menu: contemporary brasserie favourites with a good selection from the grill)

Role Description
The Hotel Owners are seeking a Restaurant General Manager to kick-start the F and B operation –
Initially tasked with reviewing the restaurant with a view to introducing and implementing improvements to raise quality, service standards and overall guest experience.
Responsible for the overall management and performance of the restaurant business
Managing and organising a medium-sized team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional levels of service on a consistent basis
Purchasing and stock control, account management
Team recruitment, training and development, rostering and personnel files
Responsible for sales reporting and forecasting, monthly P and L, delivering consistently on standard KPI targets incl. Profit and sales, purchasing and labour costs
Daily admin, weekly figure reporting and compliance files and procedures
Management meetings; guest relations; marketing (promotions, PR and social media)
Desired Attributes
This role would suit a confident, ‘hands on’ Assistant Manager looking to take on their first General Manager’s role.
A passionate, standards orientated Manager with great people skills and personality coupled with good initiative, organisation and energy levels.
Salary and Benefits
£28,000 to £32,000 pa and performance related Bonus
Permanent contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period: regular performance-related salary reviews + 28 standard paid annual leave + work place pension + training courses as required + staff discounts + FAM trips
