A BIT ABOUT US
David and Kaz started Grind and Co. In 2011, wanting somewhere to hang out when they weren't working - or even when they were - and could get a proper cup of coffee like in Melbourne, Kaz's home town. Grind now has 9 sites across central and east London, each smashing out coffee, cocktails and food day to night, and last year we opened our own roastery and training lab in Shoreditch.
THE ROLE
We're looking for the next generation of General Manager here at Grind. At Grind we serve fresh, seasonal produce, alongside our coffee roasted by us in Shoreditch and a cocktail menu of Grind classics, and we look for passionate and talented individuals to lead our energetic sites.
As General Manager you will be able to demonstrate a good all around approach to running a fast paced restaurant. Ideally we’re looking for someone who can keep their cool, develop their team around them and, most importantly, make sure the customers and team have fun! Of course we expect the usual stuff; being able to run a great restaurant or espresso bar in style and bring in your P and L, but running a Grind is so much more. It's about the buzz, the vibe and the energy.
THE VENUE
We are crazy busy coffee shops by day serving awesome Espresso alongside simple, seasonal food, and lively cocktail bars and restaurant by night, serving the best Espresso Martini's you've ever tasted! Attached to our good friends The Hoxton Holborn, Grind is a lively cafe by day and cocktail bar with sharing plates menu by night. The atmosphere in Grind is fast-paced and vibrant, with strong emphasis on quality coffee, seasonal food, cocktails and always the best service.
