The GAZETTE Restaurants Group in South London, incorporating GAZETTE, London’s most authentic French Brasseries, BELLEVUE Restaurant, Maison CATERERS and the Petite Sandwich shop are recruiting General and Assistant Managers.
You will be running the day-to-day operation of the restaurant with a focus on recruitment and development of the front-of-house team. You will be training and inspiring the group to deliver the standards of service and ensure a special guest experience.
Your duties will also involve driving the sales upwards and maximising the profitability of the restaurant, organising weekly orders, private dining preparation, stocktaking, banking and cashing and Rota planning among other things.
What are We are looking for in you?
• We are a young company is looking for ambitious “leaders in the making” or established managers prepared to work on new challenges with an essential commitment in time.
• Management experience in a similar operation, although more junior roles will be considered if you feel you have the potential to take a new step.
• We need a passionate individual, enthusiastic and with a knowledge and interest in French cuisine.
• We require fit, quick, efficient, detail-oriented individuals who are also strong team players and pay attention to cleanliness.
• We will require our candidates to show character, control, calm and charm when dealing with customers and colleagues. An understanding of true hospitality is essential.
