For any General Manager, Fuller’s is a special company to work for. You’ll get lots of help and support from Head Office when you need it, but also plenty of encouragement to put your own spin on the pub.
You can take plenty of pride in the role too, knowing that Fuller’s Ales, food and service has a reputation as some of the very best in the business.
You’ll need to be commercially minded, making the right decisions to keep customers pouring through the doors. Importantly though, you’ll be a people-person too - mindful that to many, you’re still a good old-fashioned ‘Landlord’.
And of course, you’ll have a team to look after. So we’re looking for somebody with true leadership qualities – able to keep both the customers and the team smiling.

The pub draws in an eclectic mix of customers, reflective of the local demographic, and caters perfectly for everyone. With an amazing selection of craft Beers, mainstream lagers and exceptional sprits and wines, there is something for everyone. The food offer at the Sun and 13 Cantons is a Poplar South Asian and Malaysian franchise, offering a superb selection of authentic, aromatic dishes. In addition, regular popups keep the offer fresh and exciting.
The pub is beautifully designed with an art deco/Parisian theme throughout. The bar is relatively compact but you can always be sure of a great atmosphere. Booth seating and high top tables allow customers to grab some food in an informal, lively setting. Downstairs you will find an amazing separate area, perfect for private hire events. Complete with a full bar and with a history of world famous DJ’s playing, it’s a popular and well renowned events and party space. Outside the pub, you can be sure that the pavement will be busy with customers soaking up the Soho atmosphere.
The next General Manager of the Sun and 13 Cantons will need to be well connected with the London pub and bar scene, maintaining existing and building new relationships. A passion for craft beer, live music and creating an amazing atmosphere in a late(ish) night venue is essential. You will have the experience and be equipped to manage the outside space to prevent any issues from arising and will continue to innovate to ensure the offer is fresh and unique.
