For any General Manager, Fuller’s is a special company to work for. You’ll get lots of help and support from Head Office when you need it, but also plenty of encouragement to put your own spin on the pub.
You can take plenty of pride in the role too, knowing that Fuller’s Ales, food and service has a reputation as some of the very best in the business.
You’ll need to be commercially minded, making the right decisions to keep customers pouring through the doors. Importantly though, you’ll be a people-person too - mindful that to many, you’re still a good old-fashioned ‘Landlord’.
And of course, you’ll have a team to look after. So we’re looking for somebody with true leadership qualities – able to keep both the customers and the team smiling.

Located a short walk from both Bank and Moorgate underground stations and in the heart of the city business district, the Telegraph is a firm favourite with local workers and has great reputation as being one of the best places to grab a lunchtime drink and bite to eat and also as a relaxed pub which is perfect for after work drinks. With an open kitchen serving up a great selection of food, the interior of the pub is buzzing and vibrant. With tables outside to the front and plenty of standing space, the Telegraph is the place to go locally when the sun is shining. This 5 day a week business is performing well, averaging around £35k per week of which £5k is food.

The next General Manager of the Telegraph will make the most of its enviable location. The attractive open kitchen gives you an ideal base to grow the food trade and the key to success will be maintaining the pubs reputation for offering great quality food and drink alongside efficient yet friendly service. Whilst not essential, previous experience working in the city or an understanding of the city trade would be beneficial.
