General Manager – The leading Gastro Pub and Restaurant in Richmond, very competitive salary and bonus package.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to lead the premier food and drink venue in Richmond Town Centre. The business is well established and operates at a very high level, however there are many aspects of the business that could be developed and exploited by the right General Manager.
The salary and benefits package are more than competitive, we would however like to discuss this in person as we feel these discussions should be had on a one to one basis and based on experience and future expectations rather than salary bands published on the internet.

- Role Responsibility
The role involves driving all aspects of the business. This is a great opportunity for a manager that can show recent experience working within a busy, high-end gastro pub or restaurant operation.
It is essential that you display real leadership, are always looking for ways to improve the quality of the food and service and are completely guest focused.
You will be directly responsible for:
·       Staff recruitment, training and development.
·       Smooth operation of the business during the busier periods.
·       Ensuring that your deputies are fully briefed and are trained to operate the business to the same standard when you are absent.
·       Achieving agreed financial targets, be it sales targets or controls.
·       Quality control of all food and wet products.
·       Product development with the bar manager and head chef.
·       Proactive Atmosphere management, ensure that all the different sessions are planned and adhered to when you are not in the      business.
·       Constant review, development and management of all staff members, both FOH and BOH.
·       Management of all social media
·       Ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met and adhered to.

Ideal Candidate

The role offers the successful applicant the opportunity to drive the growth of an already successful and solid business.
·       Previous management experience, within a similar business essential.

·       Marketing and presentation skills.

·       Ambition to continually drive the business forward.
·       Financial reporting including stock management and reconciliation.
