One Bourbon Tavern is an American Tavern which has 15 draft Beers and great food, with an emphasis on slowed cooked meats. We also offer a fantastic brunch at the weekends.
Alongside the vast array of Beers on offer, we also have great cocktails and milkshakes, we play awesome music and have live music every Friday night. We also show the key sporting events. Our wet / dry split is 50%.
We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic and positive with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail. We want someone with a passion for creating a warm and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. We need someone that has previous experience as a General Manager with a proven track record. We also need you to either have worked with craft beer or have a strong passion for it.
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete business. This will include: employing, training, managing and motivating all floor and bar staff as well as stock control, gross profit and the day to day financial aspect of the company. You will also be part of menu development and our drinks offer. You will receive a great deal of support from the current managers, owners and operations manager.
The Package: - Salary is £30k a year with a bonus (£3k guaranteed - £6k a year) - 28 days holidays per year - 50% off dining and drinking at our sister sites.
Applicants must of course be well presented, speak fluent English, and hold a valid EU working visa, national insurance number and bank account.
Our current General Manager is working until 24th February but we are ready to give the ideal candidate an immediate start as a handover period would be ideal.
