Live in nanny wanted in Finchely, north London, to care for 1 boy (1 yr) and 1 girl (3 years )
August 2022 start.
Up to £350 gross pw.
Accommodation is a newly refurbished double bedroom and own bathroom/wc on a separate floor of a 3-Storey house with garden (and Kitten).
The role is for sole charge of a 1 yr old, so experience of this age required. The 3 year old will be at nursery every morning and some afternoons so the role will include some drop off and pick up and after nursery care, plus sole charge out of term time.
Working hours are 8am - 6pm (tbc), Monday to Friday, plus occasional babysitting. There may be some reduced hours on Friday on an ad-hoc basis.
Responsibilities will include:
*Morning routine
*Meal and snack preparation
*Organising/attending activities and playdates
*prepare equipment for feeding
*changing nappies / dirty clothes
*assist with bath time when required
*Assist with light housework, such as packing / unpacking dishwasher, keeping play areas tidy, laundry, cleaning and washing up after children's meals
*Liaising with other nannies and parents to arrange play dates
* undertake appropriate creative and developmental activities
* undertake appropriate outdoor activities
The ideal candidate will:
*be a non-smoker,
*speak good English,
*have a paediatric first aid qualification,
*have childcare experience,
*have at least 2 checkable references,
*have age-appropriate experience
*enjoy cooking and crafts and creative activities
A clear CRB/DBS check is required.
We live in Finchley, north London, which is a lovely family-oriented area. We live 2 Mins walk from a park/playground, 10-12 min walk to tube (northern line) with direct access to central London. Numerous buses nearby and local shops, restaurants, cafes and an arts centre with lots of great things for kids. The area also has a pool/Lido, gym, tennis courts etc. There are many children's activities/classes in the local area, most within walking distance of the house. It is a popular area with young families, so there is a good nanny network with opportunities to socialise and organise playdates.
