We are a friendly family of six who live in Primrose Hill, London NW1. We are looking for a full time live in housekeeper/ cook/ nanny to help us out on weekends (Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday) and two additional days during the week. (Time off will be two days during the week) The work during the week is mainly housekeeping and cooking but at the weekend will involve helping us (mum and dad) out with the children.
We are a happy household and we feel the role will suit someone who is quiet, calm, patient and kind. Spanish speaking would be preferable but not essential.
Duties will include:
- All usual housekeeping duties - cleaning, tidying, ironing etc. Must have some experience of housekeeping in a previous job
- Cooking healthy family meals and snacks. Must have some experience and knowledge of cooking
- Occasional dog walking (medium sized friendly Labrador/ Spaniel cross)
- Helping mum with the school run from time to time (walking distance)
- Occasional supervising of play dates in the home
- Helping us out with the children on the weekends - For example doing activities with us and all the children (such as going to the zoo or park or activity). At times we will want you to take one or two of the children to the local playground sole charge.
- Supervising our youngest child's lunchtime sleep on weekends.
- 2 nights of babysitting per week approximately (during working days) although some weeks none at all
- Travel at weekends to grandparents house in the country (approximately once per month) and during holiday times (approximately 6 weeks travel abroad per year)
- Comfortable and happy working alongside others. We have a full time live out nanny working Monday to Friday helping us with our youngest child and mum is also at home.

Salary: Competitive London rate
Primrose Hill is a beautiful area of London close to Chalk Farm and Camden Town Underground stations (northern line) and bus routes. We live right next to Primrose Hill and Regents Park and there are plenty of shops and amenities in the village. Being comfortable around our small, friendly dog is a must. The accommodation is a lovely, private, quiet, ensuite room on the top floor of the house with balcony to sit out on, tv, wifi etc.
