We want to find a loving, organised, energetic live-out nanny to look after our two boys (a 2 1/2 year old, who is currently in nursery, and a baby of six months) when I go back to work.
We're both academics with somewhat flexible schedules but are looking in the first instance for 45 hours a week (8:30 - 6:30 four days a week, and some additional babysitting or another half day). Salary from £10-12 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements:
- Fluent English speaker
- Non-smoker
- Past experience working with more than one child and excellent references
- Able to organise stimulating, imaginative, and fun activities for both children, including play-dates, classes etc. Our toddler loves running round in the park, reading (and acting out) stories, and is a budding ornithologist.
- Able to cook nutritious home-made meals and wean our baby
- Help with some domestic tasks (eg, small food shops, children's laundry, keeping boys' bedrooms tidy)
- First Aid and CRB (can be current or willing to be subject to CRB check).
- Relaxed, friendly, clear communicator
