We are looking for a friendly, energetic Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. Immediate start preferable, but we will hang on for the right candidate. Someone looking to further their career in this industry would be ideal.
The World's End is a laidback, neighbourhood pub surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and shops. We come alive in the evenings, with live music and roasts at the weekends. Kitted out with Sky and multiple screens, for every sports fan's needs.
Our menu changes when the leaves fall, the temperature drops, the flowers come out and the sun Shines. So, while we always have pub favourites, there's always something new to work on too.
Our pub is all about the people, staff and locals alike - so we're more interested in who you are and what makes you tick. If you're a quick learner, with a positive can-do attitude and pride yourself on your attention to detail, then you are who we're looking for.
If you have previous experience working in a busy kitchen, then great. But, if not, as long as you're a fast learner who's keen to be part of a hard working team, then that's fine by us too. We'll show you the rest.

Who are we anyway?
We're Metropolitan Pub Company (or Metro Pub Co for short), and we know a good pub when we see one. All our pubs have something about them: old Victorian buildings with wood panelling and classic horseshoe bars, fitted out and kitted up so they're just right. We have 71 pubs in and around London:neighbourhood locals, City pubs and foodie ones. They're all different - run by their manager's, not a boardroom - and we like it that way.
