Brickwood Coffee and Bread is a small group of independently owned cafes with a focus on creative and fresh coffee and brunch.
We have locations in Clapham and Balham, Tooting Broadway and Streatham.
Our cafes take inspiration from the bustling cafe scene in Australia and New Zealand where quality brunch and coffee is our focus, combined with a comfy neighbourhood feel, great music and laid back but efficient full table service.
We offer unique dishes made with quality ingredients designed for the ultimate lazy brunch.
We seek a passionate and experienced commis chef / kitchen assistant to join our team who possess a genuine passion in cooking fresh quality food and using great produce as well as bringing their own ideas to the table.
You must be able to work alone and as part of a team.
Our kitchens get very busy like most good brunch places and the right candidate needs to have experience running a pass and doing 300 + cover services
Great role, great environment and great pay.
2 days off a week and no evenings.
You will work closely to the executive chef on menu development.
Pay minimum £8 per hour with all government standard sick and holiday pay. 45-50 hours per week
Living locally to South West London would be a huge advantage.
