Demi Chef de Partie - Celeste Restaurant
The Role
Be fully aware of The Lanesborough Culture, Service experience along with Guests Recognition that The Lanesborough is renowned for. Be able to promote and be confident with all facilities offered in the hotel.
Working within a brigade under the guidance of a Restaurant Head Chef, an Executive Chef, Florian Favario, and Consultant Chef, Eric Frechon, (Paris most esteemed 3 Michelin Star Chef) you will be part of a professional team with a focus on service delivery and execution of a Michelin level menu that is fundamentally French, modern and tinged with international influences.
As Demi Chef de Partie, you will be supporting the production of an excellent food offering, being able to adapt when necessary based on guests' requirements. Flexibility is required to be involved in different sections and take a pro-active approach in developping your knowledge in all areas.
You and your team must be trained and fully understand both the menu and what is expected in this high level professional brigade with particular emphasis on skills and menu execution with pride, on the job training and a focus on progression within the team.
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Previous experience as a Senior Commis or Demi Chef de Partie within a Michelin star kitchen is preferred but not essential
- Good command of the English Language
- Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred although not essential for commencement as will be
certified with the Company
- This role will be required to carry out manual handling and on occasion heavy lifting
