Main role and objectives:
As Commis Chef of our brand new hotel you will be responsible for the daily operation of your section within the kitchen and related areas. You will take charge of the production for food of great quality. You will ensure that all production is carried out with appropriate food portion control, use of recipes, all Company food corporate guidelines and service concepts.
Your responsibilities:
·Maintain and improve food quality and presentation, ensuring that food is delivered on time and to the required standards.
·Coordinate and communicate effectively to prepare and deliver quality food to create an inspiring dining experience for our quests throughout the restaurant, bar and meeting and events functions.
·Maintain own working area, ensuring materials and company property are clean, tidy and in good working order
·Actively participate in training, learning and development activities to support own continued personal and professional development to benefit the business and improve personal skills

·An individual truly passionate about food with experience in a professional kitchen environment
·A Chef who is great at creating and maintaining positive and productive working relationships across the business, communicating effectively in a range of situations
