This is a great opportunity for a Commis Chef who is looking to work in a great kitchen with excellent support from senior staff and the rest of the team but have a better work life balance on Monday to Friday.As an important part of the brigade the Commis Chef will have a strong understanding of all health and safety and hygiene legislation with a passion to get things done to the company standards and in an efficient manner.The right candidate will be expected to; * Report to the Sous Chef and Head Chef * Take orders from Chef de Partie * Prepare and cook food to a high standard * Have a basic knowledge of the culinary arts * Have a passion for the culinary arts and a drive to develop your knowledge You will benefit from * Working Monday to Friday * Some overtime available on weekends * Meals on duty * Company uniform * Company pension scheme * Twice yearly paid bonus scheme * Christmas off (requires 5 days of annual leave) * 28 days holidayIf you are a passionate and driven Commis chef with a need to work Monday to Friday, looking to enter a kitchen which is clean and has good quality equipment then this is the role for you.
