We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and talented Commis Chef to join the team at the stunning private members Annabel's Mayfair.The Birley Group encompasses some of London’s finest private members clubs; Annabel’s, Mark’s Club, Harry’s Bar, George and Bath and Racquets all based in Mayfair. Arguably one of London’s most iconic members clubs founded in 1963, Annabel’s is the only one of its kind; a members-only dancing and dining club offering sophisticated entertainment and excellent food in the heart of Mayfair. As Commis Chef you will support the Chef de Partie to ensure the smooth running of the section with all dishes leaving the section being of the highest quality and presentation. You must have a passion for developing your skills and knowledge to enable you to progress in the kitchen. Ability to take direction from the more senior chefs and be a good listener is essential as a Commis Chef. As a Commis Chef we expect you to ensure the smooth running of your section by keeping it clean and tidy and to efficiently carry out the orders and specifications set by the Chef de Partie. You will produce high quality dishes from scratch whilst maintaining the high standards and expectations of the restaurant. We are ideally looking for a Commis Chef who has:• Previous experience as a Commis Chef in a high quality and busy destination restaurant• A passion for food and working with seasonal high quality ingredients• An excellent and motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude • Previous experience of working within a high volume and fast paced restaurant would be beneficial but not essential.
