Commis Chef (Urgent!)Location: London Pay/Salary: £ 9.50 - £10 per hour (Mon - Fri Only)Temporary position Corus Consultancy are looking for a Commis Chef who has already gained some experience working within an Italian restaurant for our client in Central London. This is a temporary position which may become permanent for the suitable candidate. Immediate start Key Accountabilities: To deliver consistently high levels of excellence to ensure complete satisfaction of both internal and external customer. To ensure that the food is prepared and presented to the highest standards as required by the client. To produce food as directed by the Head Chef, Sous Chef, Chef De Partie and to present it at the times required. To be fully conversant with food menus, in particular items which are the responsibility of your section and of their recipes and quantities. To advise the Head Chef, Sous Chef and Chef De Partie of any irregularities in stock control. To report any defects in machinery and equipment immediately. What we require of you: * experience of working in the catering industry * experience of working in Italian Restaurant * Excellent customer service * Knowledge of the Italian Food * Italian speaking The ideal candidate will have knowledge and an interest in Italian food.
