After an impressive refurbishment, the Lord Palmerston has reopened its doors to the locals of Tufnell Park. With an interior boasting stunning examples of traditional pub meets modern design with an eclectic collection of artwork to complement the decor.
On our shiny new bar is a fantastic selection of London’s finest craft beer Saturday alongside firm classics of Young’s Bitter and Special whilst an extensive wine list and collection of spirits rounds off the pub’s new-look menu.
The kitchen is open daily, serving traditional British fare made with season, fresh and locally sourced produce. Located in the heart of North London,  the team look forward to welcoming you to the Lord Palmerston soon!
Our kitchen is the engine of our pub and with an award winning apprenticeship program, we will be developing your skills, sending you to specialist courses, grow your confidence and make you the head chef of the future. The carreer path both front and back of house is clear and we are dedicated to your progress.

Our offer to a Chef de Partie
- Up to £9 per hour
- 28 Days holiday per year

What we look for in a Chef de Partie;
We are looking for an existing Chef de Partie or an excellent Commis Chef looking for their next step, who considers themselves to have a passion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome. As the successful Chef de Partie you will:
- Have experience championing excellent service through quality food.
- Demonstrate a passion to deliver fantastic food every time.
- Be an active hands-on Chef de Partie/Kitchen Supervisor.
- You will show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills.
- Working alongside your Head Chef you will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials.
- Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills, necessary to maintain effective controls with regard to both General Practitioner and labour.
- Have a pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth, through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams.
