Bonnie Gull Holdings Ltd are looking for Chef de Partie's to join our team at both our London restaurants in Soho and Fitzrovia. Bonnie Gull is a seafood restaurant brand, serving up responsibly sourced, day boat, British fish and seafood.
Job Description:
To complete tasks efficiently as directed by the Head Chef to a consistently high standard. To prepare food and complete plates in a clean and organised manner using the recipes and directions provided for you. To report any produce that may need ordering to the responsible parties. To ensure that you arrive on time and in an efficient state to carry out your duties. If required, to manage the service of a shift and work diligently and efficiently with the front of house team. To report anything of note including the counts that day and the order required to the responsible parties. To ensure that the team completes all duties required in a timely manner and that nobody leaves until the job is complete to a satisfactory standard. To direct the KP in any extra duties he may be required to perform.
Main Tasks:
Ensure that all dishes are fresh, well presented and using portion sizes provided to you.
Cleanliness of the kitchen and safe working practises are adhered to.
Good level of hygiene.
Actively check your fridges and equipment before use each day.
Ensure that deliveries are put away promptly, correctly and stored properly in the right space.
Maintain a clean and presentable appearance.
Good time keeping.
Participate in any training opportunities designed to increase skills and knowledge that may be offered by the company.
