The WE ARE BAR Group is currently recruiting a chef de partie/kitchen assistant to join the team at our venue Jamies Tudor Street located close to Blackfriars station. The venue is open Monday to Friday.
You will work up to 40 hours per week based over 5 days working typically 5 days plus 2/3 evenings per week.
The ideal candidate must be able to help in the kitchen with prepping, salads, grills, cleaning and generally assisting the Head Chef. Any potential candidate will have to demonstrate their ability to work in a small team, you will work with the Head chef during the day, evenings are normally working alone unless we have functions booked in. Therefore the ideal candidate must be willing to work as a team and ensure the kitchen is kept clean at all times and doing the dishes. We are looking for someone who wants to learn and is flexible in the duties of the role which varies subject to the needs of the business. The candidate must also have sound knowledge of Food Hygiene policies and procedures.

This position requires:

* Previous experience in a similar role.

* A full understanding of the English Language.

* Flexibility and understanding.

In return we offer an hourly rate plus a share of the service charge, weekends off and the opportunity to develop within the company.
