Full-Time Chef/Cook
£8.57 Per hour
We are looking for experienced Cook/Chefs to work full time shifts, 37.5 hours per week 2 main shifts either 06:30 to 14.30 and 11.30 to 19.30 weekdays and weekends, rostered 5 days over.
7. Weekend working is usually 2 out of 4 weekends.
Our large well equipped modern kitchen serves over 100 meals a day to residents, staff and visitors in our family style care home for the elderly.
You should have a minimum of 2 years practical experience and ideally some formal training.
You should be familiar with a wide range of home-made dishes and able to prepare traditional English dishes made from scratch and without supervision.
For the successful applicant, we will need to take up references and a DBS check (criminal record).
